New BB?
I needed a new crank for my bike. Should I go with a crank that fits my tapered square spindle or should I get a crankset BB combo with a octolink or IRIS system?

The age is about a month. I do not know the brand. The bike shop told me I needed it, so I did not question it and had it replaced. I have been doing mostly light trail riding. I want to get up to downhill.
