Chain Breaking?

Hey everyone,
Something really weird is up with my chain on my giant stp0.
The chain is a connex 9 speed which according to the the local bike shop is pretty high quality.
But the chain has snapped at the link three times. Each time i have replaced it with a new link.
Does anyone know the problem?
Cheers

A broken chain (from a Chain-breaker tool or just stress) will become weak at the link it broke. Have you been climbing hills with a hard gear ratio, or maybe you've been using extreme gear ratios, or you've been wheelieing. All of those put lotsa pressure on your chain, and if it has snapped once, it's sure to snap again. You're on borrowed time until you get a new chain.

I did this recently. I used to go through a lot of chains till I switched to connex. But again broke one. After more inspection I found the bottom cog on the deraileur had excessively side to side play and the chain was falling in between the cage and the roller. After replacing the pic and relubing everything was solid and now I am not breaking my chains.

Could be something really mundane
