Bike weight

Is a 30 lb bike heavy? What is weight should I be looking for 6'1 160 lbs.

A marin downhill with full suspension Probably for offroading and hills and also just regualr usage on flat cement.

for a full suspension it is not unreasonably heavy i dont think.

For a DH bike (if thats what it is) thats stupid light. That would be lighter than any pro bike on the WC circuit I believe.

Well it depends on what you are doing that decides if its heavy or not.

i dont think a 30 lb marin qualifies in any way, shape, or form as a dh bike. the lightest dh bikes made are probably the cannondale gemini's, and those at race weight are around 35 lbs.
