Forum Returns to Top Not Thread Just Read

Hi MTBers,

Is there a setting to make returning from a thread just read return in the area of that thread, not the top of the forum?

Yes. Up the top of every page on this forum there is a 'forum tree'. It tells you the subsectors of the forum you are curretnly in and have gone through to get in. Reading this thread will display:

Bike Forums > Bike Forums > Mountain Biking > Forum Returns to Top Not Thread Just Read

Click on the 'Mountain Biking' link in the 'forum tree' and it will take you back to the Mountain Biking section. Hope this helps

Unfortunately, my answer is to go back to Internet Explorer. I normally use Firefox, and experience the same behavior. When I am on IE, when I click the back button, it takes me back to the same spot I was before clicking on the thread link, no matter how far down the page I was, which is what I think you were looking for.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for. I'm using Firefox also. But other forums, some of which use the same software as Mountain Biking, go to the lastest used thread.
