OCA Race License?

I did 3 OCUP MTB races this year, and got a call from the Ontario Cycling Association hassling me to purchase a full license ($140).

Cost wise, I was planning on going to 6 OCUPs this year and purchase 6 full day licenses instead of getting the full license.

Does anyone know a way around getting a full license? If this is the case, I'm not going to do anymore OCUPs this year because I think it is ridiculous to pay $140 for the remaining 3 races.

I would go and check their rules. The may require it if you do a cirtain number of races. If they don't I would just tell 'em to piss off. How much do you pay per race any ways?

You may want to ask your question on this site
DropMachine seeing that it is a Canadian site and a lot of the users race.

Thanks for the link. The day license is $10 per event, and the race itself is between $40-$45. I may just stop doing them because I wasn't too competitive for the first few races anyways. I'm just kind angry that they're trying to force me to buy a $140 license
