Giant STP1
Giday all, i was looking into buying a STP Zero or a Cannondale Chase 2, although at the local bike shop they are offering a STP1 (05 model) for $999 (on sale from $1,550) so i am really considering saving a few bucks and getting the STP1 instead of the STP Zero or Chase. However, i am able to get a STP Zero 05 model for $1,500 (usually $1,800-$1,900) but im not sure if the extra money is really worth it, or if i need a bike that good. I'm using the bike for mostly street and dirt jumps. If anyone owns a STP1 or knows much about them any info would be appreciated.

If it were up to me, id just go for the STP1. Buy that, beat the crap out of it...and replace the parts one by one. Especially considering the difference in price, you could do alot with the money you save.

Just wait for the '06 STP zero. It'll be coming out pretty soon and is around the same retail as the '05 STP1 from what I hear. That's what I'm doing.
