First of all I want to thank all of you who kindly replied to all my questions posted during the last week. I know I was getting annoyinh with so much asking. Again, thanks.

The good news is I found a bike which I felt comfortable with. Nice geometry and LX/XT range components for an affordable price. It's from a brand called FELT. I must say this bike kicks butt, all alluminum, LX/XT components, 20 lbs (total weight). What else could you ask for? Gonna pick it up tomorrow morning.

Man, I'm so excited...

an aluminium full bike at 20 lbs. Using XT and LX? Needsless to say, I am a little bit skeptical.
Checking it out, the Felt Team bike, at 4700 dollars weighs in at 20.1 punds. And it sports full XTR and a SID Fork. Their lowest end MTB is about 1200 bucks, these are all hardtails, and what appears to be the one you are talking about, at about 1200 dollars, weighs in at about 27 pounds which is much more realistic.

Looks like a nice bike if this is the one you're talking about. https://www.feltracing.com/05_mtb/2005_rxc.html . It's not 20 lbs, though. Gotta pay for the full XTR model to get to that weight. I don't get caught up on weight, though. Sure looks like a sweet frame. Not too many bikes with carbon fiber seatstays in that price range.

But the other thing aside, still apears to be a pretty sweet ride.

Well, I admit it. The bike shop didn't have a scale but I weighted it "by hand". Oh, and the price is because it's last years model, so it was on sale.

Oh, and it was much lighter than the Kona in the same price range.
