Will the nike kato III work with crank bros mallet c pedal? I gotta get thes pedals.I was just wondering if they would work. Here is a link to nike you have to click on the brown shoes and then kato III the brown shoes are their mountain shoes.

Your link sucks. Nike sucks, get some 661 spd compatible shoes.

The Nike Kato III cleat mount is pretty recessed, if I am remembering correctly. And because the Crank Brothers Mallet C pedals have that platform, you might need some sort of shim or something to have the fit work correctly. I might actually be very wrong, but that's a consideration to make either way!

Anyways, I have pretty wide feet and the Kato III works well with my feet I tried some looks but they hurt my feet so I got the katos and they don't hurt.

The Mallet C pedals come with four plastic shims. I had to use all four (two on each shoe, of course) on my Shimano SH-MA80s.
