I am aninternetional student in US, I plan to buy a bike and spend no more than $200!
I saw many hard -tail and dual suspension mountain bikes in wal-mart are from $100--$200, I do not know which one is better. I just use my bike to go from home to university and cruise in parks in week end, not really on the trail.
my friend surgested me to buy :
https://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4016707
Schwinn 26" Men's Aluminum Comp Mountain Bike - Blue
they said in the same price this one is better than that of huffy and mongoose. and the dual suspension bikes are not good for this price!
I have no idea at all about the bikes.
thank you for your kindly advice!

That bike will suit you fine for the use you want. Your friend is right, stay away from dual suspension unless you want to spend five times as much.

I bought that schwinn for my niece. It has held up well over the summer with only a few adjustments needed. Not a bad deal, all things considered. Compared to my wife's Giant Sedona that goes 130.00 more there is little difference in quality.
Oh, and do not take it on a trail or try to jump things. Just keep it on the road and use it as a cruiser.

After you buy it take it to a shop and get a tune up, most of those toys are put together by pedro for 4 bucks a bike..... cutting corners is how they make their money, building a BUNCH of bikes in little time..... I am no master mechanic, but it takes me 45min to an hour (depending on how many customers I help durring the build) to pull a bike, build it, tag it and put it on the floor.... I work at a shop and everything I built for the first 2 months was checked by atleast 2 people, so I know the xmart manager isnt gonna run over and check jose's handywork.........
