Hi, welcome to Bikeforums!
If you really want to choose out of those 2 only, I'd take the Kona, but I suggest you take a look at the Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc as another option.

i bought a hardrock sport disc on friday, it's AMAZING. frame is beefy, tires are grippy (a little loud, but meh), its a very very good ride. if you can get one, that would be my choice.

Hey I'm 15 and I also needed a bike just like you I ended up buying the Norco Wolverine its an awesome bike and it was pretty cheap also. You might want to take a look at one.

ThE 2006 Hahanna is really geared towards XC this year so if you're not going to be doing big drops and such, and want to concentrate on speed I would go for that over anything else. However, if you want to do a bit of freeriding, the other suggestions mentioned in this thread would be a better route.
