Lizard Skin Size?

I'm about to buy a lizard skin for my hardrock, but I dont know which size I should get. It seems like the Standerd is to think and the Jumbo is to big. Any input?

The Jumbo will be too big. I think the Standard is ok as long as it does NOT say its for Chromoly frames.

Can't you get the Specialized one? Shouldn't cost too much and I'm not sure if the Lizard Skin has the two holes where the shifter cable is wired.

The Jumbo is for larger, square tube chainstay's. The Standard should work fine.

BTW. LizardSkinZ are lighter than the hose too. Plus they're dry-out, whereas the hose will trap moisture underneath it.

I use black duct tape on my black frame= you cant see it, but also no more chain slap. I just took the rear tire off and wrapped it around the frame

  1. If you're not racing who really gives a flying **** about a couple extra grams?
  2. Applesauce. Check my example again. That's CLEAR hose. I'd know if it held water in there. It doesn't
  3. The hose and/ or the used tire have a distinct advantage in that they're either free or less than $2 for the entire kit. A lizard skin which doesn't protect as well costs up to 4 times as much
Think using your head not your wallet
