    No Star Nut Fender?

When I was at my lbs, I was looking for a good dender for my bike, and the assistant recommended the "the" fenders. However, on the Marzocchi website, unde the specifications it says no integrated fedner under steerer tube specs. Does this mean the "the' fedner will not work?

I dont think the 'THE' will fit because some steerers taper down to a tiny hole at the crown. Your best bet is the Marzocchi Integrated fender (it screws in to the tiny threaded holes in the crown). It could be possible to modify the THE fender to use the Zokey holes though. We have a THE fender lying around at the shop, and a DJ3 on a SC Jackal that I could check fit for ya. You will have to give me till tomorrow night, since we are going riding that evening.

It means that the fork does not come with a fender like some models and may not have the holes to put a Marzocchi fender on. Depends on year and model of your fork. A "THE" fender should work. I use one and I also use another brand that has an exspansion nut (I prefer this one but do not recall the name as I bought it 5 yrs ago) so no star nut is required.
