Help on taking air on the trails

Well I was riding yesterday with some friends, and at the beginning of the ride, there was this jump. I was the only one who took the jump (the others were smart). I can land many drops (picnic tables, 4 feet drops etc). But this jump pushed you upward, not just let you drop. Well, my problem this time was that my entire body and bike was rotated forward such that it would be impossible to land back wheel first. I landed on my front wheel, rode for 3 seconds then took the fall.

My question is how do you prevent that rotating movement?
Thanks...
