SC Blur build kits

Hi all,
I've been looking at either the spx db int kit or spx db kit for building up my Blur. From what I understand, the "int" refers to integrated shifters/brakes, in this case the dual control levers. Am I correct?

If you had to choose, which kit/setup would you go with; the Avid Juicy 7's in the db kit, or the shimano dual control in the db int kit?

Thanks for the help!

*edit* Also, anyone know the average price that one of these kits goes for?

It might be a good idea to ask SC the questions about pricing and build kits.

^^^^^ What he said. In terms of Juicy vs. integrated, it's personal preference. Not everyone likes the new integrated shifters. I love them! That said, the Juicy 7 is a great brake with lots of adjustability. I would strongly recommend that you go and take a test-ride on bikes equipped with either system to see what you like better.

Since you asked, I would definitely go with the Juicy 7's. For one, I've tested them a decent amount on a friend's bike and they're great. For another, I'm prejudiced against the integrated levers. I've never ridden with them, just based on other discussion and fooling around with them in the LBS, I see too much potential for accidentally shifting at the wrong moments with the kind of riding I like. Probably fine for XC racing though.
