I've been reading and searching through the threads and I've found alot of good info. I just want to consolidate some of this and get a few opinions.

I'm new to the biking world so bear with me. I have an 04 Specialized Hardrock sport. It's a great bike and I love it but I'm riding with a group of guys a few times a week around our local lake and a bit into the trails. Nothing fancy on the trails it's just mainly sprinting around the lake on paved paths. I'm wanting to get a set of more road friendly tires. From what I've read here are a few good candidates

I'm leaning towards the armadillo. I'm planning on sticking with the roads around lake hefner but I also want to hit the trails to break things up. any suggestions from you pro's?

Im with ya! They seem to be a touch more aggressive in the tread, but dont expect a whole bunch of traction on the trails.
