I have a Trek Incite computer on my bike. It is really handy being able to see your distance traveled and average speed. Just be extremely careful if you want to see exactly how fast you're going through a stretch of singletrack. Those trees seem to pick the best moments to jump in front of you BTW... washing out a front wheel is a better alternative to nailing a tree, as it tends to slow you down a good bit before you hit the ground.

Bell Spinfit. It looks cool but I can't see it when I'm wearing my polarized shades.

I got my enduro 8 because it said it was meant for mtbing. The wireless is only 10 bucks more, not sure exactly what else it does though. All you really need is your current speed, timer, and overall distance anyways.

I use an eTrex Legend GPS handheld. Weight's 5.3 oz's. I got a handlebar adapter for it but I found myself looking too much and not enjoying the scenery. So now I turn it on and throw it in my backpack. It's cool because I don't have to mount anything on my bike.

I had the cateye cordless. awesome computer in all conditions. worth the extra$10. I am now using a Sigmasport RDS1600 wireless because the display is much larger. I cant tell how well its going to do in the cold as it hasnt gotten below 58 yet. the cateye worked well in less than 20 degree actual temps. the wind was so cold it froze the water in my pack but the computer did fine except for the display being a little sluggish. if the SS doesnt do well in the cold Im going back to the cateye for winter riding

I just ordered a Specialized Pro, msrp @$99 but I got it for way less from the LBS. What I like about it is the altimiter, I will be doing lots of riding in Wyoming, and I really like to know the elevation. It is wireless but I think the cadence has a wire, I don't really know much about all of the extras so I will be checking it out soon

I use the Cateye Velo 1, very cheap and it does what I need it to do. It wouldn't hurt too much if you broke it.

I use the cateye micro wireless on both of my mountain bikes. It is an awesome computer. Just don't leave it on your bike when you have it on your car when the temperatures are below freezing. I learned this lesson earlier this year when I had no computer for a race because everything was froze up.

I have the Specialized Pro on my roadie and it is awesome as well. The altimeter and grade are very nice.

For a mountain bike I won't use anything but wireless. I hate having to worry about the wire hitting the tire when the fork compresses.

On a side note I think I am getting ready to replace all of my computers. I just bought a Polar S725 that I may start running on all of my bikes. It is really cool being able to just download all my ride information to my computer and send it to my coach by just putting the watch in front of the infrared thing on my pc.
I may be fat but I'm slow enough to make up for it.

Cateye Micro Wireless. Got it after the wire on the previous one got torn out by a branch or something along the trail.
