rear rim going out of true, please help
I got my 05 manik from whistler a while ago, it had sun singletrack rims front and back. Anyways from Fanatyk bike co the front rim was perfect, and still is, and the rear had a bit of a bend in it, so i figured it was useable, i rode it maybe 2-3 days and i break a spoke and the rear wheel is so bent it rubs on the frame and i cant ride. I go to buy a spoke tool and a new spoke, and a casette remover tool. I fix the whole thing get it very close to straight and go riding and break another spoke. So i realise by now after searching the forums that the wheel is clearly not setup right at all, and looking closer at it, it has about 9 DT spokes two that i replaced, and all the others are no name. So the people at fanatyk must have been having troubles with it too, and didnt fix it right in the first place, now the rim is pretty much junk anyways though. So i put in a replacement wheel same deore hub DT spokes and an Alex ACE-19 rim brand new, perfectly true. Now i know this is not a heavy duty rim but i take it out for one day of riding(nothing more than 3 foot drops, i weigh 150) and it is already out of true by about 2mm . I have come to the conclusion that i should just buy a really nice heavy duty rim for my rear wheel, but for now what would you sudgest i do to my alex rim, to keep it from getting worse, pretension the spokes?
thanks in advance

Quit blowing your $$$$ people....
There's a reason the best bike's have the best rims... $400 if you catch 'em on sale....
I'm SOOOOO glad I bought mine about 6 months ago.
They come in Silver too, in case Canary Yellow isn't your colour....
I chose the Silver....
