Bikes: old school Giant Attraction MTB (where it all started),old school Schwinn High Plains MTB (XC and long ride duty), Mosh DJ3 (BMX basher), and Trek Bruiser 1 (freeride and full of mods and still growing)

get right to the queston here, would LX hubs hold up under freeride style riding, or should i save more money and buy some beefier wheels

Depends on how big you are and how big you go. LX hubs are decent hubs plus they're cheap to replace

i'm 220llbs and like between 3' and 6' drops with a hardtail

It might be worth your while to look at better wheels. I love my XT / Rhyno's to death but I'm not hitting anything close to 6" even though I am bigger than you
