When you close your eyes.....

I went for a quick little ride around the neighborhood the other day and was riding off some small drops and jumping off of curbs...etc. I noticed that every time I jumped and landed, I closed my eyes for an instant.

I tried my best to not do this, kinda like when you sneeze. Is this pretty normal, can anyone keep theirs open?

I've never noticed, but I'll try to see if I do it the next time I ride.

Mine close. I think it is your bodies instinct. I am sure I heard that somewhere. I am also sure there are people that fight the urge.

I always keep mine open. I used to have to keep them open while playing football as not to lose track of the ball when getting hit. So I have no prob keeping them open from the hits I take on a bike. I even watch what is happening when I crash.
