Florida friends - I'll be riding at Alafia Sunday..

Anybody got a status report on the trail? If it's a real mess down there we'll probably pass on riding it. We rode Razorback last weekend and it got sloppy. A friend of mine fractured his hip.. although that was actually BEFORE it started raining.. ha. Anyway, does anyone know if Alafia is dry, soaking wet.. whatever? I might have a couple rookies with me so I wanna know what to expect.

I have no current status report, however it has been raining quite a bit lately which will make the trails rather soggy

Hmm.. perhaps we met, Tony? I was the guy with the Cannondale hardtail with the green Michelins, riding with 2 other guys. Sure was muddy and slippery on the difficult sections of the trail... there's some stuff out there that's pretty gnarly and washed out pretty bad. Still a good time.. we needed a change of pace! Next weekend we'll be riding at Gatorback here in Gainesville... I doubt we'll venture down there to Alafia very much in the future.. it was a pretty long drive! Plus, Razorback is really close to us.
