Rocker Bushing maintenance

I was getting a serious creeking sound coming from my rear shock/rocker assembly, so I added a dab of Triflow to the bushings and eye mounts. Thought it dawned on me that this would only make dirt stick to the bushings, expediting wear and tear. The lube helped with the creeking, but I think this more of a bolt torque problem than anything else.

My question is how often if ever do you perform any maintenance on the rocker assembly? Should these bushings ever be lubed?

I lube my suspension pivot bushings, including two rocker bushings, every month or so.

I never lube the shock bushings.
