anyways, i would say go for the sport or sport disk. brakes don't normally just break for random reasons, and the rims are actually quite good and beefy on the '05' model... your main concern here would be fork and frame, and since the frames are the same across the board anyways (with the exception the pro is made in taiwan while the comp and sport are made in china... whup dee doo), i think you should get the sport if your as hard as you say you are on bikes. if you buy and expensive hardrock and break the frame, and consequently break other things, you're screwed because you spent hundreds of extra dollars that you could have saved buy buying cheap.
