Cane Creek C-2 Aheadset: Is it so terrible?

I ordered a Cane Creek C-2 Aheadset from Pricepoint to replace the OEM headset that came with my Raleigh M800. I'm supposed to receive it tomorrow.

http://pricepoint.com/product474.html

But today I checked out the review for this product at http://mtbr.com/reviews/Headset/product_21918.shtml , and almost everyone gives it a terrible review.
The main complaint is that it's not "sealed": It has cartridge bearings, but it's not sealed.

My questions are:
Is it even worse than the OS Zero Stack that came with my bike?
Should I use a Lizard Skins Headset cover to keep dirt and grime out? ( http://pricepoint.com/product483.html )

I've used one on my mt bike for over a year and haven't had any problems with it. It's definately not as nice as a Chris King, but it's also 1/3 the price.

It's a good headset at a good price. If you want the best, buy the best. Chris King for about $109 mail order about $130 at your LBS.

Don't worry.

I ordered the wrong headset for my bike!!!!!
I followed my mechanic's advice, who told me to order an "Aheadset", without looking at the bike.
When I read your post, I called, and then he told me "Let me check... Yeah, you're right, it's a 2-inch, not a 1-1/8 as I had told you"

My blood boiled of anger when I heard this!!!

So now I'm going to have to sell it locally and order the correct headset, a Cane Creek ZS-6 Zero-Stack Headset.
