Alright so i was thinking, what if you made a beefy as hell hardtail, able to accomodate a dual crown fork, kind of a DH hardtail, maybe push the limits of whats possible on a hardtail.
This is just a rough "sketch" i did on photoshop, taking cues from some FS DH bikes and some cues from some hardtails and then add dual crowns and voila! DH hardtail

The ride would not be smooth, it isn't possible for you to make a smooth track for a three sided figure, only for or more (a circle approaches infinite sides you damn smart arses)
Oh I got this information form some hands on musuem place from when I was like 6 so I am probably wrong
Blazinall91, one thing you may want to do is to make the bottom bracket shell in the intersection of the down tube and seat tube, this way it has more a larger surface area weld>stronger BB

Not really, some guys are purists to the extent that they don't want rear suspension, but they still want to be able to go big, and that isn't possible with most hardtails. Most hardtails are kind of tame, there are the few that are designed to take a beating, but nothing incredibly extreme; they have limits. My thoughts are maybe push what's been conventionally thought possible to do on a hardtail previously. It's an idea, probably has some flaws i'm missing, but i would buy one if the frame was a production piece.

think of it, the behemoth, a hardtail with a dual crown fork and the frame itself rigid as hell.

Why can't a bike have two shock absorbers for the rear like a motorcycle? I think it'd look pretty tight. I'm only 15 and dunno the geometery stuff nor physics...?
