    Which one do you like?
I try not to say too much, for fear of putting my foot in my mouth when it should be clipped to my pedals.

    Whichever fitted better.

I voted KONA, great bikes, cool company!

KONA, I always go with KONA.
    Except for my road bike.

I love both bikes but cannot decide which to choose. If it were not for the warranty I would probably choose the Kona but Trek has lifetime warranty and Kona has 3 years.

IMHO, Nunu's better, it has mostly Deore/LX, Trek has Alivio. Don't know about the fork and the frame, though, but I've heard very good things about Marzocchi. The Trek is cheaper, but I guess you have to sacrifice quality for that.
Prepare for the worst - that way any surprise will be a pleasant one.
