Slime tube protector?

Yeah, when I was ordering my new stuff, the dude told me about that slime, thin strip, tube protector thing. That's so cool! Does anyone here ride with it in? If so how do you think it works? Im still waiting on my bike though but can't wait!

if it's what i think you're talking about, i thought it kind of hard to position the strip while putting the tire/tube on and not having it shift out of place. otherwise i think it does its jobs for some thorn type protection but i don't think it does too much for pinch/flats
