lol thats the dumbest thing i have ever seen.
|
What strikes you as dumb?
|
Sidehacks look like fun.
|
that just looked really dumb (to me).
there we go lol. |
Sidehack riding done right is pure art; and has a long history. I remember vividly watching an exhibition sidehack race put on by the Norton/Wasp teams at the Trans-AMA Motocross in Puyallup, WA about 1971 - - watching these big 750 Norton-powered sidehack rigs take all the jumps on Puyallup's pro track. It was mind-boggling. Totally insane, agreed, but it stretches your mind about what's possible on three wheels. The tradition continues to this day . . .

that would be freakin scary though, 20 feet in the air in a side car thing haha.. still its not something i would enjoy

Diablo yesterday. Broke my chain right at the top, after getting off the lift. Taking the Dominions and the Alpines down without a chain was fun. Forced me to work on pumping the bike and not braking to keep speed up for the tables rather than pedaling - did better than I anticipated. That was the twelfth run, and I bagged it after that.
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...e/IMG_1202.jpg Stayed local and played around this afternoon. Taking mon-Wed to go check out stuff around Saratoga Springs, NY. Camp/ride/beer. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...ewmuvee001.jpg |

Actually, seems like you don't "get" a lot of things. |
I liked it.
Hey, thanks for taking the time to set up those shots on your rides, scrub. Having done it but a handful of times now (and no timered shots), I appreciate what a pain in the *** it is. And you obviously put more effort into it than most of us have the patience to. |

?! what on earth?? i must have said something wrong. i apologize if did. its just that im on a really small netbook and it just looked like still shots of the woods i didnt see you on the bike.

I do enjoy your pictures, scrub. I always assumed you had someone else snapping them, but now that I know you're taking the time and interrupting your flow to set it up, I appreciate the effort.

The trails in and around Saratoga Springs, NY kick ass. Thanks for the tour, Luca! Three days of riding cut short to two, thanks to big rain dumps last night/this morning.

Hell, buy a cheap ass Nashber 29er singlespeed rigid to keep there for the summer. Not the ideal bike for all the stuff around there, but it sure beats not riding. Assuming this is someplace you go each summer or something, just leave it there. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...4_10000_200516 |
