How do you guys get such great "photo's" of YOU?? LOL, I always seem to ride alone so no "action" shots". Put in a few miles at the Bear Creek Regional Park, "Singletrack Area", here in Colorado Springs today. LOL, it's a real good thing no one else was around, my riding techniques are "stink'in up the trails" at the moment!

Maybe it sounds harder than it really is, but it seems like it would be an incredible challenge to get the timing right. I mean how do you do it exactly? Just set the timer & count the seconds in your head until the picture will take? Even that leaves a pretty big margin for error in keeping your bikes speed in time the camera's timer.

Ok, I've got a P&S digital camera and yes, it's got a timer but without a tripod, it's gona be a royal PIA to find the perfect rock, etc. to set it up on and I think it only gives you like 30 seconds, humm this could be quite the challenge!

Hey Scrublover, what kind of pants are those? They look good for cold weather riding. BTW, Turkey looked great! I am headed to the fridge for leftovers...

Find the shot you want. Aim and get your camera ready. Set timer. Run like hell to the bike. Ride. Hope you get something. Sometimes it works, sometimes not, sometimes needs a few takes, sometimes I give up before getting the shot wanted.

Pssst: all my Canon cameras allow me to adjust the time length as well as number of shots taken. I set for 30 seconds, and have it take 10 shots. Pretty simple, really.

Some old Kona pants. They work for me down to about 20F, so long as I'm not doing a lot of stopping. Colder and i have other layers.

Rode the Sonoran Loop in the Sonoran Preserve, (North of Phoenix) over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a fun recreational ride, good for riding off the Turkey.

Whoever decided to put the route through a field of jumping Cholla Cacti was brutal. Definitely a time to mind your speed and keep on the trail.

Did you put the rocks back in place, you know, gotta tidy up. Any good pics of bruises or cuts?

A shorty today before relocating the inflow water and drain pipes in our kitchen.

More cooking during kitchen renovation. Corn on the cob and pork chops.

went on a off road ride with the old roadmaster(so crappy) for the heck of it, i was expecting to have to get a ride home in about a half an hour becuase of it. but that little 24" bike kept on going and going. i couldnt belive it was holding up nothing wrong with it at all. say what you want about roadmaster, but if i didnt know any better(wich i do) i would think that bicycle was the best there was. i was riding with a friend and he thought i was going to end up ditching it. we rode for something like 6 hours. one of the funnest ive been on in a while.
just thought some of you could use a laugh. pretty good ride for a bicycle i got for $1. lol

No, just has a slighty sprained wrist, banged up ankle and the worst was a dislocated pinky that is sore as all heck today. No big deal.

Oh, I have plenty of those. Not many of them have the flex in their schedules to match mine though - lots of weekday time to ride. Group rides tend to happen more on weekends, and house stuff is keeping me busy on most of those lately.

Not something that bothers me. I like to ride solo, and have fun with the timer shots anyhow.

Takes me about 20 minutes to those. 10 minutes to some other stuff. 30-45 minutes gives me access to a ton of riding.

I did the same to my left pinky Thanksgiving morning. Gratefully it wasn't my fork hand. The swelling is finally going down.
