First race of the season on Saturday. Enduro in Spokane at Beacon Hill. 3 stages on some of the most fun trails on the hill. Fifth place out of 5 in a pretty stacked 40+ Cat 1 class. Even my friend Chris, who's a total ripper and only just turned 50 this year, just squeaked onto the podium with a third. Still a great day and a fun early-season event.

Third stage was interesting - - short run using the 'old' DH course. I've ridden it a hundred times on the DH bike but it was a totally new experience on the trailbike. Needless to say, I should have gotten more than one practice run in on it, as you'll see. Raw clip of my third stage run:

That section looks like fun -- sb66 ain't bad either.

Got out to a local trail this morning for some mileage. Also hit up the skate park for a bit.

Nice video, you make it look easy! If all goes well I'll do the CC race on the 26th. Hopefully we won't have to ride those rocky sections!

Thanks guys! Haha, note to self: take the rock low to the right and it's just a little roller - - need a lot more speed to launch the higher left side :

Hmmmm . . . was not aware that there was going to be a Beacon XC race. Found the site; sounds like it could be a good one. I miss XC races at Beacon; but will have to see if I've got my legs back after the Port Angeles ProGRT the weekend before.

Hi guys. I'm new here and from Hungary. I'm member of the hungarian BHR Community and I rode around the Balaton Lake at last year.
I hope you like our video. Greetings from Hungary!

Go easy on me. This was my first time riding on a trail. It is a different world, but one I like. I hope to build some confidence and not walk next time I ride in some areas I was a little iffy on. Just know....this isn't some awesome riding....I 4yr old could probably do better lol.

Two runs down the PROGRT course in Port Angeles, WA today. Second was a solid run connecting the dots. Tomorrow want to get in at least three more adding moar speed.

BTW, got to meet Charlie Sponsel (Team Robot) in he shuttle line - -nice Guy . . . and funnier than sh** on the interwebs.

Five more practice runs today ...felt good, confident despite rain and deteriorating course. Stoked for tomorrow.

A fun weekend at the ProGRT in Port Angeles, WA. I didn't make the podium; but I had a clean run with no mistakes and was as fast as I felt I could go on that day. Class shows as Cat 2 but it's actually a 50+ Open with a mix of Cat 1s and Cat 2s and was very stacked with some hot 'young' guys who just turned 50. Was thankful to have come away with sixth place.

Curt Gowdy State Park west of Cheyenne, WY today. Haven't been out there before. Probably my new favorite trails, extremely diverse and really fun.
Starting off..

Middle Kingdom trail, had a freeride park in the middle of it with a lot of flat rock and such

At the top

I went up to West Magnolia yesterday and it is very weird riding twisty singletrack with no trees around. Also less trees mean more blow downs on the edges which means more adventure by hike. Also still a lot of snow in the shade which meant more hiking. Wonderful day on the bicycle I would say.

Took a trip down memory lane last night to get my stoke on about Whistler this year (as if it needed any help, haha). Re-watched this vid from 2010 when I met up with never, the Gypsy and some of their friends for a few days of Whistler awesomeness. My warm-up run on Crank It Up - - a good get-yer-flow-going jump trail - - never with the GoPro:

It's not me, I think it's because of the copyrights on the music...doesn't work on certain devices.
