Chainguides - What's the deal?

Hey,

I'm wondering...do ethirteen chain guides have rollers? If not, isn't the chain eventually going to wear through the plastic? Also, for MRP chainguides, are they just disliked sometimes because they have the really thin and not-so-bashable bashguard?

Don't hate, hoolie. MRP's have more world cup championships than any oversized, clunky looking, double secret formula PLASTIC bashring.
