That is sad. Although if one of the girls had offered to help (even just being the tool holder / beer girl :D that would have been sweet)

Maelstrom 01-10-06 11:40 PM

Hmmmm fix bike, or go out with girls...I would take the girls too :)...bikes are forever...girls arent always :)

I like you train of thought. None of the girls understood how one can have fun riding a bike. Plus I realized I didn't need to spend $9.25 on a movie that would end up being a chick flick.

the minute I pressed sign-up with that name I knew I was doing something stupid, My uncle named me that once and I just used it

Well that sucks, but not in a good way.

I don't know, I've had some really good times as a teenager in a theater during some Pauly Shore movies. (Think: a certain Alannis Morrisette song you oughta know)
Best part about Pauly's movies? You could always count on the theater being empty or damn close.

i love my bike, but i love my girlfriend more. Actually though i told her i'm going to take her on some trails this spring as soon as it gets a bit more climatable. At first she was like "NO" now i keep telling her we're gonna ride a trail and she is like "ok but nothing scary" hopefully she likes it, have an awesome new riding partner

It's an addiction man, you know that. Start her slow and let her build some confidence. Be as encouraging as possible, but DON'T overdo the corrections. Offer input, but don't be the "expert" unless she asks, and try to keep it simple. I've found that the crash course is the wrong approach to females when it comes to bikes.

One time when I was in the service a couple of friends of mine and I were driving along.I happend to see this really cool car (I was and still am a car nut)and I start hollerin about this car.
About the same time they start hollerin too.turns out they saw two girls in bikinies holding sighns up about a new store or something.I mean model types in two piece bikinies.
I did not see them untill we were almost past them.the car was really sharp.
I have worried about that one for some time.then I met my wife.I don't worry about it so much anymore.
It all takes time.If there is an opportunity to go on a date then by all means go but if there isn't then ride.simple.I think.

Haha. I went once with 2 friends and the group of girls (about 5 freshman), and saw Exorcism (sp?) of Emily Rose. The movie was awesome, but everything else wasn't. They warned us twice about disrupting people cause the freshman we're all hyped up throwing crap at people and screaming. Then I went again and we saw some chick flick, the freshman were fine, but the movie sucked.

I like your name. Be proud of it...a real man isn't easily embarrassed.

LowCel 01-11-06 10:04 AM

When you have to be worried is when your wife (or girlfriend) busts you looking at some girl on a bike. You start explaining how you weren't looking at her, you were actually looking to see what kind of bike she was riding. The bad part is when it is actually true. :o

Siu Blue Wind 01-11-06 11:43 AM

I'm ALWAYS looking at bikes. What I hate is when the person riding is thinking you're looking at them. One guy actually turned around and followed me, trying to say that he knew me from somewhere (never saw him before). I just told him that I'm not from this area and took off.

erhan 01-11-06 01:10 PM

When I see a hot chick, and my girlfriend is beside me, I just keep staring at hot chick, and say, oh, look at this, look at that.... Then of course she goes insane, but she knows I won't do anything. May be I have become a slave of her .

About the time I spend for biking, she says that if I had spent the all that time with her, we would have been married by now. And I go "may be that's why I spend more time for biking" :D
I'm just not ready to get married :p
