    Cycle Computers

    Hi,
I have a Sigma Sport BC 1200 + RDS computer. It has suddenly stopped working, so I thought that the batteries may need changing. I changed the three batteries, computer head, sensor and receiver. It still does not work, ocasionally it starts reading, but then go`s off. Does anyone on the forum have any idea what is wrong with it or do I need a new one.

mine did the same thing. clean the contacts between the unit and the RDS, but before you do that make sure the magnet has not gotten out of line, the wheel sensor is within 5mm of the magnet, and that the magnet is not rusty.
mine was the contacts of the RDS unit had corrosion
    hope this helps

    Hi,
Thanks for that. Had a bit play around with the wheel sensor and magnet and it seems to be working now. I will go out on bike tomorrow and give it a proper test.
