Front disc hub geometry

Alright, so this truly has nothing to do with mountain biking, but if you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm working on a fixed project using a front disc hub for the rear hub. However, Shimano won't give up the geometry of the M525 front hub, so I come to you. Does anyone knows the spacing from the center between the flanges to the disc mounting face? Also, a 10mm Shimano axle with requisite cones/spacers/tightening nuts will slide right in there correct?

Thanks guys!

from the part that contacts the "frame" to the disc flange is 10.16mm +/- 0.1mm

mathematically, you can figure out specifically what you asked for with all of the info above

hope that helps

Standard front hubs have 9mm axles. I've never tried it, but I doubt a 10mm axle would fit. Rear hub 10mm cones are intended for 1/4" bearings, while front hub cups use 3/16" bearings.

Apparently Shimano works with both, or so I've been told by another guy who did the conversion. The cups are the same size, and the hub has more room than necessary for the axle in the center, so the bearings, axle, and cones from the rear are just swapped in.
Thanks for the link!

Nah, man, not at all. It's just been so long since you posted something actually helpful, I had to get in on the thread somehow.

Okay then, that about covers the photoshop comment. I'm done for now.
Feel free to insult me again at your leisure.
