The ones I've used/seen do. I've never personally put in anything other than shimano though so I can't be sure. I noticed that there is a specific Raceface BB tool. I'm not sure if they have the same number of splines or if the spacing is the same. I'm getting some new RF cranks and BB and am hoping they are the same.

The Park BBT-2 works with shimano square taper bb's, octalink bb's and ISIS bb's.

An ISIS BB tool should work on everything; but an older square-taper tool may not, because of the diameter of the ISIS BB spindle.

The external bearing tool is also common among Shimano, raceface, and FSA.

Well, as far as I can tell there are three types of BB tools for the newer BBs.

1) the standard cartridge-type BB tool - has a crap-ton of little teeth and is about 1" in diameter. Example: Park BBT-2
2) the standard external bearing BB tool - a wrench-like contraption that has I think 16 teeth ...the hole in the center is just about 2" in diameter. Example: Park BBT-9
3) the tool for ISIS (or similar) BBs that have notches around the outside ring for the tool to fit around - then use a wrench on this interface tool to remove/install the BB. This is for one type of XTR BB and also Truvativ ISIS BBs. Example: Park BBT-8

My point is, if you have a Truvativ ISIS BB, you will need something like a BBT-8 (I found out the hard way). If you have any other type of ISIS or most recent square-taper cartridge BBs, a tool like the BBT-2 should work just fine.
