trip to Phoenix - where to ride ?

I have a short business trip to Phoenix and I am hoping to have a few hours to get out for a ride. Is there any good trails not to far from downtown Phoenix that I could get a decent ride in on.

I am guessing I will probably have about a three hour window of freetime each day, and my motel is just a couple miles south of the airport.

Thanks in advance for any info.

South Mountain Park, I think, is less than 10 miles from the airport. According to the site, has 11 trails of varying length and difficulty.

Get a map from a LBS. There are over 100 miles of trails within the city limits.

Don't know if this is a bit far away, but how about McDowell Mountain Regional Park:
