I saw Bianchi Kingbee '05 at LBS and liked it. It is $1100 (should get 10%+ discount). But there is an online store with temporary priced IronHorse Warrior Race '05 for $600. The components are probably nominally better on IronHorse. This has got me confused. Any thoughts to choose among the two. In fact this would be my first bike. I might as well go for lower priced bikes too (like specialized hardrock).
I got the 05 Ironhorse race from Randal Scott a few weeks ago and It's a great bike, The componentry alone is worth the price they are asking, I paid extra and got the Pro=Build.
Hell of a deal Hard to pass up because the bike last year was around $1100.00 and the 2006 model is about the same.
Thanks people. Iron Horse should be a good choice. The color is a little crazy.
If I buy from Randall Scott, should I use their assembly? They assemble it then dissasemble it just enough for shipping. It is extra $60. Personally, my friend has a bike book, and I would love to assemble it myself.
well, I think you could be able to assemble it yourself ,the bike comes from the factory about 80% assembled, but I chose the pro-build because I wanted it ready to ride. Even with the pro-build you'll spend about 1/2 and hour putting it together. But it's really easy and it has instructions if you need them ,but I didn't need them. the only tool you may need to have is a t-25 Torx bit to put the front brake rotor on with. The rest is all your standard metric allen wrench nuts and bolts. They include a allen wrench with the bike.
