I'm trying so compile a bit of info, like parks that allow cycling in B.C.
And i'm trying to find areas specific that have desert like conditions.
Some trails suggested.
https://www.trailpeak.com/index.jsp?c...=trail&val=717
https://www.trailpeak.com/index.jsp?c...=trail&val=716
https://www.trailpeak.com/index.jsp?c...=trail&val=726
No mtb trail info, but might be interesting.

Check cycling and area, you can locate b.c parks that allow cycling.
Any info on area Osoyoos, or parks in the area from someone familiar would be nice.

Closest park.
I'm planning something for a spring\summer cycling holiday that will be the opposite of westcoast\northshore conditions.

Great information man!! Its looks excellent [ for the view s ] but I would watch out for snakes, spiders and ticks. Just a precaution. I am for sure interested in riding the area.

Rattlers, cactus AND scorpions oh my!
These are the parks that area that allow cycling. I'm thinking my idea of cycling might be a little more extreme, but they will never know.
https://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/exp...lands_gal.html This is a promising looking place.

https://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/exp...amalk_gal.html
"Mountain biking is permitted in the park, however, the beaches (Jade, Juniper and Cosens) and trails to Rattlesnake point are not appropriate for biking due to the high levels of use by hikers/walkers. Elsewhere in the park, please stay on trails and watch for other users." That's the first mtb specific reference for parks compared to 'cycling' I've seen. Hmmmm...
Some of those pics suggest a ride.
Second reference:
https://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/exp...lver_star.html
"Mountain biking opportunities exist along ether the Nordic ski or snowmobile trails. The trails are wide with generally a hard packed gravel surface. There are however some wetter sections to some trails. Grades vary from easy to difficult. Some single track trails do exist within the park but the majority of this type of trail is located at Silver Star Mountain Resort outside the park.
Trail and stunt construction is prohibited."
