DMR V8's?
Has anyone had any experience with these pedals? Pro's? Cons? I've found a new cheap set and are considering replace my stock no-name brand ones. Just by looking at them I can tell that these pedals are for freeriding, dirt jumping and possibly downhill riding.
I'm not too sure about using these for XC, but I have heard they grip really well. The pedals I have now just don't suit me. Do most pedals fit on most crankarms? I really wouldn't mind having these pedals, they do look great, but would you recommend for XC?

the v8 is the standard flat pedal, free spinning, strong, grippy as hell. theyre good for pretty much anything. - i use them on my own maxlight.
however if your a weight weeny you may want to look for a set of v12 mags.

I have a set on my XC/all mountain bike and they're very nice, they're a very popular choice over here because of the low price, the immense grip and the high quality.
I also have a set on my freeride bike which takes regular abuse.

jus bought myself a pair of v8s on sunday i was going to put them on before and my current pedals are jammed on solid!! if anyones got any ideas how to remove them please help.
p.s. cant wait to use the v8s

a cheater bar, liquid wrench, hammer...you know the left pedal is threaded backwards(left hand thread) right? Either way, those are what I'd do. Or if I was rich and weak I'd buy some new cranks.

Because department store "bike shop" employees are not as trained as LBS employees. If you are having a hard time with your pedals, that indicates that the person who buys a bike from your place may be riding a bike assembled by someone not fully trained. If the employee is not fully trained, the bike may be dangerous.
