Thule frame adaptor

Would you trust this frame adaptor to hold your bike?

Those things always looked a bit sketchy to me, and most of the ones that I have seen in use, the bike was swinging wildly on the back of the car. Perhaps they weren't being used correctly.
I have never used one, don't have a frame that would require it

A ladies frame goes on a rack without that, you just put it on differently.

They work just fine.

Even when attached to a 42 pound bike.

Have one just like that, works like a charm. Because I'm paranoid, I use a bungee cord along the shaft and around the hooks to provide tension and make sure it doesn't open up - but pretty positive that it wouldn't even without those.

Holds the SC just fine even at fairly high rates of speed...

ya i use one of thoes too. not the same company but same idea. it works fine for me and my bike weighs a little more then 48 pounds. if you really parinoid or want to save some money you could fab one like one of my buddies did.
