I was overhauling my hubs last night, and to save some money, I used high temp wheel bearing grease for cars (I had some laying around). The hubs run buttery smooth, almost better than new, except for the fact that they are slightly hard to turn. I should have gotten a lower viscosity grease (like Park Tool). So, now, I have to go get some different grease and do the whole thing over again. Oh well!
