Yeah, I saw that his bike is an SS, but awhile back KonaRider hated Sh!tmano as he called it, and was into SRAM. So when I saw his avatar today it just made me wonder if he doesn't like SRAM any more..thats all.

Right before I went SS for good, I ran an XT/105short cage combo, just got tired of shifting, besides, all the cables were geting old fast.

It rides pretty good. I just put a stiffer spring in the fork so that helped a lot. I was bottoming out on ever bunny hop before. And I can actually use the full 6in without it being just crazy soft. Really I wish there were some trails around here that I could put some knobbies on for. Everything's xc that I know of.

What type of tires are you guys running?
I'm Looking to get a pair of 2.5 tires for freeriding/downhill,
and was wondering what people liked.

Kenda Nevagals are nice aggressive tires. Right now I have Kinetics on my hardtail which are also really nice.

My fully freeride rig:

And I still have to get my dammed friend to get pics of my Steelhead.
