How much were 2004 and 2005 Haro Escapes new?
My cousin just tipped me my LBS is selling a used Haro Escape (which belonged to the cousin of my cousin) for 800$ (negotiable, might get it down to 700$-750$ or lower if I pay with cash), I didn't have a chance to ask him for the model year or the specific model it was (8.1, 8.2, etc) so I'm trying to figure out more or less what kind of bike it is by looking at the price alone. (its obvious I'm not getting a 700$ bike used for 800$)
So I just need the MSRP for 2004 and 2005 Haro Escape if anyone can fetch them for me (gonna look for them now myself too).
I'm fetching my old KHS Sport from the shop tomorrow so I'll check the specs then.
And finally, is buying a used bike in good condition any good? My friend's Trek 4900 2004 and Trek 6500 2005 that he bought used are in tip top condition and never had a problem so thats why I'm really excited about the idea of buying a used quality bike for a decent price.

I bought my son a 2005 Haro Escape 8.1 from a buddy that only rode it a few times last year. He was asking $400 which included platform pedals and clipless along with shoes. The retail on this model was apprx $1200. Hardtail with front suspension, but I don't remember what fork it has. Its Army green.

I went to Haro website but I couldn't find or remember where I saw the prices, I know I found them somewhere tho. Guess you could always send a note to Haro and ask.
