Are these good for the price? (Avid SD-7 F & R + Levers, 90$)

https://www.pricepoint.com/detail/119...vers-COMBO.htm

I want a decent pair of v-brakes since my old Shimano Center pull aren't cutting it anymore, are these good for the price? Are Avid SD-7 good v-brakes? Any other suggestions?

Yes they are good. Better then good. One of the best investments you will make to your bike.

Not sure about the price though... I got a set of these brakes and levers for $100AUD + postage off eBay.

I've been hunting around E-bay for a similar setup. So far I've just got the levers, paid $30 and they're new. From what I've seen a used set(F&R) of calipers seems to go for $40-50+shipping. So I'd say that price is fair. Might not be the best deal you'll ever find, but it's a good price with a lot less looking effort.

That is definitely a decent price. I got that same deal from Pricepoint for $69.98 last year but prices go up. I've been blown away imperssed with the braking from the set but to each his own. On the outside chance of saving $5-$10 (MAYBE) from eBay, it's easier to order from PP and call it a day. Better than messing with two auctions and the hassles associated with that. But again, that's your call..
