Fork advice?
After selling my Giant NRS 2 last year after snapping my Manitou Skareb fork and 2 road bikes and a cyclocross bike later I've finally decided to get another mtb for 2006. I just bought a Giant XTC frame that I'm going to be building up, decided to go wtih a hardtail this time, but I'm stuck on a fork now. The Skareb that I had snapped on the crown after only having the bike for 2 years. I need some suggestions for forks, I'll be racing the bike so I doubt that I need more than 80-100mm in travel. It looks like I can get a Manitou Black for pretty cheap but am thinking I may wanna stay away from Manitou after what happened to the Skareb. I wanted to get something that will be responsive but not break the bank. I have been racing road and cyclocross for the past 2 years so I'm a little out of touch on front mtb forks, any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

depending on your weight i would go with
A. rock shox sid team/world cup
B. fox forx f80x rlt
for my weight sid all i needed.. but one of my riding buddies has the f80.. its only 3.3lbs' and has internal lockout... its really a sweet fork.
