AIR LEAK in my SID SL

After 7 years of no problems, my '99 Rock Shox SID SL has developed a leak in the top-right air chamber. It seems the problem lies inside the valve in the top cap, but I'm not sure where to buy a new one. My local shop says they've had problems getting new ones from Rock Shox, so I'd really appreciate some guidance.

Thanks!

NO DON'T GET A Marzocchi, get either a Fox or fix your SID

I have a SID SL 99. It holds air fine. All you have to do its change the valve!

believe it or not, IT USES THE SAME VALVE AS TO WHAT IS ON YOUR CAR WHEELS!

YOU CAN GO TO A DEALER OR AND CAR SHOP AND YOU CAN BUY THEM! its fairly cheap!
ITS THE EXACTLY SAME THING!

I change mine once a year to avoid leaking and there is no problem.

Good to know.

You just mean the guts of the valve though, because my '99 needs that adapter to use a schreader pump, right? That's to say, one could use the guts from any schreader valve?
