- to get a BMX -- did that, its been in for several warranties so far...

- to hit blue mountain

My goals would have to be, bunny hop higher and sidehop farther.

My goals:

-Learn and practice the lurch and various other trial moves (and work more on the ones I already know)
-Drop 2mt height&length flat to flat.
-Finish the dirtjump course on my cousin's house (damn, is that an exhausting work).
-Ride things no one (in my league) would dare riding!

Ofcourse I'll need a bike to start working on my goals... but whatever.

Yup, and it only lasts 11 1/2 months a year. Off season sucks but everyone needs a bit of a break right?

My "season" is about to end , in 6 weeks it'll be too hot(up to 120 degrees) to ride during daylight hours. After working 8 hours in the heat , it's real hard to think about riding .

Buy my bike and get riding already. Feels like ive been here forever bikeless. Have the money all ready to go, but dont have time to ride just yet because this guy decided to come early and with his mum having a rough c-section, im stuck looking after both of them for the next couple of weeks.

my goals

Lets see.

Install new brakes - in the process, found out my shifter wouldn't work with hydraulic levers ordered all new drivetrain, have to work in a bit, so i have front hydros and no rear brakes

therefore-

Install new drivetrain when it arrives - ordered SRAM X.9 and ESP trigger shifter and a SRAM 970 cassette

Ride as much as possible - i've been out 4 times this week, 3 times last week and before that all the chances i had it was pouring rain, so it's been great so far except for being ridiculously hot for April - 92 yesterday

before the warm weather got here it was cold so I didn't ride much and with school, no time during the day, in three weeks, i have a great summer break so all the riding i want, more or less

that's my goals, there's a good chance I'm getting a new job this summer which will mean more $$$ so possibly work my way towards a Santa Cruz Nomad

Hmm.. MTB goals would be:
Convert the Hardrock to SS.
Ride trails a whole lot more often.
Get more comfortable (read: don't crash or walk it) on the tight uphill sandstone sections.
Go faster on the technical stuff and faster still on the smooth stuff.

BMX goals would be:
Finish the dirt jump in my backyard.
Buy a new bike.
Learn x-ups, no-footers, no-handers, tables, barspins, and turndowns.
Consistently (at least 8 out of 10 times) hop over 2 feet. I get maybe 1 in 20 now.
Clean 180's to fakie, tiretap 360's. My 180's suck and I can't rollback, far from doing tap 360's.
Learn to grind (feeble/double peg).
