Riser Bars - 1" vs 1.5" rise

I don't have any experience yet with riser bars (I ride a flat bar currently) but I'll be putting one on my single speed build. I've got the option of using a bar with a 1" rise or one with a 1.5" rise. Same brand, so all other dimensions and specs are the same.

So how does a 1" rise differ from a 1.5" rise bar, performance-wise? What are the pros/cons of each? Does it even matter? I'm assuming there's a significant enough difference since a company would offer both in the same model.

not much diff. go with the bigger rise for the fuller effect...

rise helps you lift the front end up

rise helps you get butt back for downhillin ventures

I went from flat XC racing to a 2" riser and hated it only for
30 yards then started loving it.

pretty much... more rise is a good thing
for dirt riding
