"Looking for new bike" help needed

well ive narrowed it down to 2 bikes that i can get in my price range. here they are :

1. IronHorse Reaper : 24 inch tires...instead of 20. : http://www.sportchek.ca/product_desc...cCategory=true

2. Hyper Impact :24 inch tires not 24 inch frame :
http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortmen...=1146357953086

to access the c-tire site youll come upto a pg where it says gift registry and asks for postal code...just type in anything and then itll go.

i know most of you people will say just save up get something better...thats something that i cant do soo...around 250 is my limit. lbs's are too expensive for me. lol

You gave us 1.5 hours to respond on a weekend when it is slowest here, you are also asking about bikes no one buys.

If that really is your limit, then the ironhorse would suit you better. But you had better be 5ft 1.Those are really short bikes.

put that $250 you have down on a better bike, and then every week pay some more of the bike off.

Tell them that mountain bikes arn't regular bikes, they're more expensive. So, you need a bit of cash. And once they give in a bit, and offer to do 500 max, sell your Xbox and get a better bike.

This is a great bike and it's $329. It would be a much better choice for a little bit more cash but there's a higher likelihood it will be assembled properly and you won't get hurt because of it breaking.

as long as its in good condition, thats a pretty good deal.

How tall are you? Thats the only way we'll have any way of knowing if it will be too small

For the first 2 bikes you have chosen, I would say the Ironhorse. And then I saw the Pinkbike ad, and I would probably go with that if you are a local and can go test ride it. I got my bike off of Pinkbike and it has been great so far.

Yeah, that's probably a lot better. Try getting a part time job? Even a few hours a week add up in the long run, and a few bucks here and there help a lot at this price range.

Why will your parents not allow you to go more expensive than 250? If it's a financial issue, I understand. But, I often see parents who just don't think any bike is worth paying more for. My parents sure thought so until I actually brought them to the Bike shop and showed them the difference. Once they see the bikes, it's like they automatically understand, I've seen it so many times.

I got a part time job and made 1600 in 2.5 months. Makes a huge difference man.

But would a 15" frame be too small for me? Im 5'7" aroudn that. I actually kind of prefer having a smaller bike rather than a bigger because then ive got more control...and i feel safer..heh
