Didn't they merge with Diamondback and GT?

Now GT is the only one of the 3 that makes a decent high-end bike, right?

I'm curious as well. I love Hans Rey and B-Lo...they still ride for GT, don't they?

I hear ya man. My grandpa is a die hard Schwinn fan like no other. He easily has 60+ Schwinns in his living room. They are all classics also. It's a bummer they didn't continue being such an awesome company

It's my understanding that Schwinn still has two lines of bikes...the nicer higher-end Schwinn models and the Wal-mart version. Is this incorrect? I have a buddy that works at a Schwinn shop and the branded Schwinns they sell there are n-ice (and the price reflects this).

So what's the difference between these and the Wal-mart models? (I suppose I should just ask him, but anyone here have any insight on this?)

I'll e-mail him and ask for some. HIs house is awesome. Bikes all in the living room, and 2nd floor. His kitchen cabinets have bike parts instead of food. He has a huge tent he built in the back yard where he hangs old frames. That's where I got my cruiser \/, I just went out to his tent, looked at some frames, picked one, then we repainted it and built it up
