That guy got ****** up!
I wanna hit that hill, but not on the bike he was riding. I have much faith in my Kona Stab, or my Foes DHS.
HAHHAAH, that ****** guy..
His helmet actualy came off... thats when all when wrong. I would have worn an Arai crotch rocket helmet.

I thought the guy looked pretty good for a 100+ mph crash. Oh and it must be some special japanese first care. If someone has bad fall, pick them up, take off their clothes and jostle them about.

Bikes: highly modified specialized crossroads and GT hybrid (really a [formerly] 12-speed bmx cruiser, made before 'hybrid' took on its current meaning), as yet unmodified redline 925, couple of other projects

b) you wouldn't have come close to those speeds on the stab. On a giant dh he hit 85. That bike was made for one run, fastest possible speed and the outfit was made for the same reason.

Watch On Any Sunday sometime. You'll see a roadracer (I think it may have been Cal Rayborn) get into a tank-slapper at about 180 mph and ragdoll and skip across the tarmac like a rock on a pond. Yowza! And he got up and walked away from it.

Wow thats a pretty sick video!
The idea of over 100mph on a bike doesnt bother me but definitly I would have to wonder if the bike is up for the job, in this case even a bike built for this run didnt quite make it... thats alot of friction and heat to build up on a moving part and the g-force would be very high if the sloap angle suddenly changed.

That has to be the worst first aid I've ever seen. I'm a Wilderness First Responder and I'm appalled that they didn't imobilize him and transport him out on a spinal board, but no they stood him up WTF. He goes head first into the dirt at 163 km per hour and they don't even try to imobilize him. I hope those "experts" aren't taking care of me if I get a bad wipe out.
